It's the Final Countdown!

Well, we're in the home stretch. T-Minus 40 hours until I'm Harrisburg-bound! From there it's a 2 hour flight to Detroit, and then a 14 hour flight to Tokyo. With Parent-Teacher conferences this week, the packing has been put off. But it will be done! My students surprised me today with a farewell gift of flowers, chocolates and a balloon. What sweethearts! Hopefully they're just as sweet for the sub. :-) Trying to figure out the best hours of sleep during the plane ride so I'm not a walking zombie when I get there at 4:00pm their time (2 in the morning our time, fun). Yay for Tylenol PM! Still scared but so excited for the experience of another culture, people, religion, and just the opportunity to see so many new wonders of our great world! Who knows...next time this is updated I could be in another time zone, halfway around the world!
